An interview, published by Vice, with the former Facebook head of training has given some insight into the way the social media content moderators are advised to handle to massives amounts of extremely disturbing content they view on a daily basis.
The interview was conducted with Brian Doegan, formerly Facebook’s “Global Learning Leader.” Doegan managed Facebook’s content moderator training measures and created the guidelines by which all moderators would be trained, and the best practices for showing them what to do.
